Indie Games Nochi is checking out in Fall 2020
One of the perks of working in the gaming industry is that we get to play games for “research” 🤥🤡 In all seriousness, it’s important that our team not only plays games to keep us in the loop with the latest gaming trends, but also explore different types of gameplay. Additionally, games make team social nights possible even during the pandemic.
Here are some of the indie games that have caught our attention in Fall 2020~! 🍁🍂
Among Us
If somehow you still haven’t heard of Among Us - which is pretty much impossible at this point - it’s a MUST to check out! 🚀 Our team has regularly scheduled game nights and this has been highly requested. The mechanics are simple, but the gameplay is engaging. Our team loves it so much that we had to do a Somnium Eleven take on it! 😳
Jackbox Games
These are a team favorite! Ever since the start of the pandemic, our team has regularly played Jackbox games. It’s a great way to get to learn about each other as we grow as a company, especially with titles like “Fibbage enough about you.” Their games are very Discord/Zoom friendly and accommodate a great number of people! 😇
Our Life: Beginnings & Always
GB Patch caught our eyes with their newest title. Similarly to their other titles, the artwork and diversity represented in their games are A+! 🤩 But what really blew us away is how much customization there is in this visual novel! We love how characters’ personalities and appearances develop differently based on your answer choices 💕 It’s more robust than the usual “points-based” system other visual novels employ.
